Maria runs intellectual property and media projects and advises on rights protection and the management of intangible assets;

She advises international digital services on personal data protection, including data localisation requirements, and represents them in disputes with Roskomnadzor;

She reviews films, series and advertising materials for compliance with content distribution rules, including age-rating opinions for international film studios on releases in Russian cinemas;

She handles corporate work for media and technology clients: contract frameworks, day-to-day corporate procedures and transactions where content rights and other intangibles carry the value.
